This Saturday I went to Folly Beach to explore and learn more about the area. I can say it was an experience. The locals were friendly and made sure I enjoyed my stay. Folly Beach is a city on Folly Island, in South Carolina, just south of Charleston. It’s home to Folly Beach Pier, stretching more than 1,000 feet into the ocean. Center Street is lined with surf and souvenir shops. Folly Beach County Park has picnic areas and a pelican rookery. As well as beaches and wildlife-rich habitats, Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve has views of Morris Island Lighthouse, completed in 1876.











There are many attractions at Folly Beach for family and friends such as, Surfing schools like Folly Beach surfing lessons who goal is to educate and pass on the experience of surfing. Whether you are a beginner or advanced they teach the fundamentals and techniques that are essential in improving. Most importantly there objective is to have fun while enjoying all that the ocean provides. 



There are multiple restaurants you can choose from while enjoying your stay in Folly, such as Berts Markets, Blu restaurant and bar.




Some fun attractions that are available for the tourist are: Folly Beach adventures, FB water sports, and visit Morris island Lighthouse.








Visiting Folly Beach was an amazing experience and time and the locals there are all welcoming. I definitely will be booking a stay there and exploring longer.
